Alert Escalation levels are set by the system administrator based on time. As time passes with no action taken or the alert is not closed, the higher the Escalation level increases.
By definition, an Alert Escalation is the level of notification based on the perimeters (time) set by the system administrator, from one (1) to six (6).
Once you logged into the website now you can change your password. Go to HELP – click on Change Password.
Enter your generated password or old password then enter your New Password and again to confirm New Password.
Click on the Continue button to be redirected back to OverSight™ page.
Navigate to the Locus Traxx website, www.locustraxx.com. Click the Log In link at the top of the page. The Customer Login panel will open. Click on the “Forgot your password?” link
The panel will refresh to a screen that will prompt you to enter an email address. Use the email address you log onto the Locus Traxx system with.
When you click the Submit button, the system will send you an email. When you open the email it will say something like: Your LocusTraxx password has been set to '&I$)nLmMKl'.
The new password is the sting of characters and symbols in between the quote marks.
Click on the Return to login button to get back to the Customer Login panel. Enter your email address and the password from the email. You can either copy & paste it, making sure to not include the quote marks, or type it in the password field.
If you are already in OverSight and wish to change your password, you can do so from the Help menu. Go to HELP – click on Change Password
There are two ways to close Alerts, close single alerts and multiple alerts (by time and type). To close single Alerts, locate the Alert you wish to close on the OverSight™ map and right click on it.
Then select “Take Action” on the menu and a new window will appear.
A new window appears and you can now take action on the Alert. You can add a note to the Alert or add a note and close the Alert.
Additionally you can close multiple alerts at once. To close all alerts, first locate any Alert on the OverSight™ map.
Right click on the icon with the mouse. Select “Bulk Close Alerts”.
From this window you can select the time frame and type of Alerts.
The sensor report provides informational reference on how your refrigeration truck is performing vs. standard temperature ranges. The Historical Sensor Data function allows you to show how the truck would perform with different sensor ranges and time thresholds applied. Different settings may generate fewer instances when the vehicle is performing in or out of range. If the quality of your merchandise is not adversely affected, you may choose the settings that minimize alerts.
First run the Sensor Report for the vehicle you wish to compare ranges.
Click on the Historical Sensor Data link
This opens a new window. Select the Vehicle, Sensors, Period, and new Sensor Ranges to be analyzed. Then click the Analyze data button.
This will return an updated sensor graph with the new parameters...
A pie chart with duration of the condition...
And a grid of the alerts that would have been generated.
A quick and easy way to manage your fleet is with the Current Status Report. Select any or all yards you would like to review. The report displays the vehicle, location, address, speed, temperature, and the last reported.
All fields can be sorted to your preference.
Yard Management configures (via a Virtual Perimeter) a specific location for tracking vehicle activity. This may include company parking lots, branch offices, customer sites, distribution centers, etc.
First the user navigates to Yard Management in the Main Menu.
The user defines the name, description, time and location information...
Then Click on “Show Address on Map”
Now set the Operating Hours and Apply Changes.
In the OverSight™ system, click on the Main tab in the top left, then on Reports and on sensor.
On the sensor report you have several options to choose from in order to select a specific vehicle. Pick the unit, sensor (temp1-2 or both) and the time that you would like reported.
OverSight then displays a graph of the temperatures and a data grid below. The graph shows a line representing the temperature over the time period. The grid displays numerical values of the graph.
When you find an alert that needs to be brought to someone else’s attention, select it with a right mouse click, either on the map icon or anywhere along the row that the alert is listed in in the grid.
From the menu that pops up, select Send Alert. This will open the Send Alert Notification screen. Select if you want the alert sent as Email or Text. Type in the contact information, email or phone number, if the recipient is not in your system. They will not be added to your existing contact list.
Or, select an existing contact from the dropdown list. When the information is completed, click on the Send button.
If you need to set the range to something not listed, contact your administrator.
There are multiple ways to suppress alerts for your vehicles. Vehicles can be suppressed manually, or it can be suspended automatically when entering a preset Jobsite, Yard, or Parking Lot.
First locate the vehicle on OverSight™ that the alerts are going to be suppressed for either by using the Map Layers or by locating the vehicle on the map.
After locating the vehicle, right click it to bring up the following menu and click on Suspend/Resume Alerts...
This will bring you to the Suspend/Resume menu.
Here is where the options can be configured for suspending alerts for the selected vehicle. Vehicles can have alerts suspended until a certain date or to have the alerts resume automatically once the vehicle arrives at a specific Jobsite, Yard, or Parking Lot.
After the alerts have been configured click the Suspend Alerts button at the bottom of that pane and that will save the changes. Alerts can be resumed at any time by clicking the Resume Normal Alerts button in the second pane of this window.

There are several ways to track a specific vehicle in the OverSight™ system. From OverSight, select the vehicles tab.
Right click on the Unit you want to track, then select show track...
Select a period and check ‘Show Detailed Traxx’ box, then click on SHOW TRACKS.
OverSight™ returns that day’s tracking.
If you would like to track more than today’s route or a route in the past, right click on the vehicle icon and select show track to then choose a time frame.
Then select the unit to be tracked, the start and date, and then click on show tracks.
OverSight will then show the track.
Under the Map Properties panel, there are 4 different types of map views: Hybrid, Road Map, Satellite, and Terrain.
Hybrid: A combination of satellite images and road maps
Road Maps: A traditional depiction of roads, parks, borders, bodies of water and more
Satellite: This shows aerial imagery.
Terrain: shows detailed and accurate graphic representation of cultural and natural features on the ground.
OverSight provides several types of reports to help analyze what is happening with your shipments and/or equipment. You can select reports based on Alerts, Vehicle, Fleet, and Sensor. All of the reports can be exported via Excel, Word, and PDF.
A virtual perimeter is an electronic fence around a perimeter of a jobsite, warehouse, or yard. Usually a sensor or device can be monitored to determine if they are inside the fence or have left the fence in violation of a set parameter such as operating outside of established hours.
This feature can be used in many ways such as: inventory control, timecard management, security, jobsite management, and suppression of alerts within a yard or parking lot.

The alert grid is located on the bottom of OverSight™. The grid displays all the open alerts along with the number, severity, type, vehicle, duration, level, and time. In the right side of the grid you can take action on a particular alert. All of these fields can be sorted as well. You can also click on any of the alerts and it will be displayed on the map.
The vehicle icon is green when the unit is in motion and reporting to OverSight™. You might notice at times the icon is blue. The reason the icon is blue on the map is because the unit is active and OverSight™ is receiving temperature information on this vehicle however, it is not moving.
OverSight™ calculates inactivity when the system has stopped receiving reports from the vehicle entirely, such as the unit being powered down or if the unit has been boxed and removed from the vehicle. This will place the vehicle into inactive status.
